Anomaly of Hearts — May 15, 2018

Anomaly of Hearts

Written by Destiny Bergeron

It’s beyond words~

No metaphors~

Or adverbs~

No sentence exist~

If you said you found one~

You’d be lying~

I got piles of poems trying~

But there’s no defining~

My pen feels helpless~

And my heart is disappointed~

With its every attempt~

Fact is we don’t make since~

But maybe the anomaly~

Is what keeps going~

makes us defy the physics

That say we’ll never make it~

Tea party…Reason to My Rhyme — May 4, 2018

Tea party…Reason to My Rhyme

These words are my own

Their origins are my mind heart and soul

Inspired by life

my Mind fills with lines,

tries to find,

the words that unite mankind

my Heart beats

the rythem of my love

it decides who I trust

and how much they are aloud to see

My Soul holds the lines of my flow

Speaks of my love for these words

If you wanna read futher just know

You are reading pieces of me

You are seeing the things

that make me, me

My mind, heart, and soul

Are the Authors

I’m just the one that puts it down on paper

Lost In My Notebook  — March 21, 2018

Lost In My Notebook

Written by Destiny Bergeron

Maybe I can one day write something

somebody finds thier self in

A poem that holds a moment

you lost a long time ago
Maybe my words could soften someone’s sorrow

Write the rhyme that  lead to a better tomorrow
If my words could

Help a lost heart find

its way  home
Give some guidance

when the way is faded

try to write it right again

If  my poetry had one purpose

i hope it’s

Knowing you’re never alone if you’re  trying
If you’re fighting for the good in life

Than this lil poet will always be on your side
Doing my best to find the rhyme

That makes you smile even when

Your hearts in denial
I’ll search for the words that makes you believe again

All this time spent lost in my notebook would be worth it

If maybe one day

I can write something

Someone finds thier self in

Fixed — March 4, 2018

Fixed

Written by Destiny Bergeron

Rearrange my gravity

With the weight of your heart

Fixed in your orbit
You have wobbled my axis
And raised my climate

Disturbed my existence
With your astonishing presence
I’m Ieft with no defense
helpless to resist

My tides roll according
to your pull
My days are numbered by,
how times you light up my life
My Reason, what I want to discover and everthing I’ve ever known

Like the ancients followed and stars worshipped the stars                 I fallow her

Banished  — May 22, 2017

Banished

Don’t even, you’re absolutely

Out of your mind

Poking around my life as if

You didn’t destroy it

Admiring my resilient ways

How I  picked up my broken pieces

And put them back together again

Better than you ever imagined

I told you that you are banished

You can only admire my existence

From a distance

Forgiveness is not an option

pitty gets you nothing

keep on wishing

You never took me for granted

The mistreatment of my love

Is forbidding

Now you must the consequence

Conquered  — May 19, 2017

Conquered

You climbed the walls of my heart

Called out the one in charge

And Demanded the love you deserve

All my walls no matter

how high or strong

couldn’t stop her

I have been conquered

Now shes my queen

And my life belongs to her

She guards my heart

like it’s worth

All the gold in the world

And helps me build the life

I  always wished for

My smile is her sunshine

So when it rains

she helps wipe

the tears from my eyes

When it storms

she braced my shores

and makes sure

I have all I need to keep warm

Which is  her by my side and nothing more

Flowfall

The roar of the flow,

can be heard for miles,

Deafening when you’re close,

an undeniable force of nature,

The current is torrent,

Words storm from this pen,

torrentially crashing,

waking my existence,

from the abiss I rise against

the ever changing tides of life

Swim through these rapids

like I’m amphibious

indigenous born from the flow

These rhymes are my home

The only thing I’ve ever know

 Ghetto Testimonial

 I’m am a collaboration

Of the ghetto

and my daddys rock &roll

Never lost cuz my

Mom taught me right from wrong

I’m a warrior of life

Trying to win one for the good side

Always sticking up for the lil guy

Holding my head up high

down some pretty dark streets

Don’t be fooled by what you see

I am a beast  a rare breed

It’s  not healthy to judge me

Or try to predict lil too swift

You’ll get caught up in the current

And I’ll tare you to bits

Ninja-ish, my flow is automatic

Sick is my addiction to this pen

symphony on paper

Im a maestro of words

Master of sarrow

scholar of life

still learning how to survive

Chasing the high of a perfect line

Get by one rhyme at a time

         World of words

Long ago when I was just girl

I began building my castle

Fortified by the sticks and stones

of my words

All alone I built my fortress

till I could see

My castle was only the center of a never ending world

My rhymes took on a life of their own

the ever changing altitude of love

Carving mountains and oceans
Desserts and unlivable terrain  created by my loneliness and pain

Arctic  winds of never agains, I told you so and what were you thinkings
Beautiful wilderness where love has the chance to grow again

Waterfalls of my words

Run into rivers of my flow

I stand alone in center of this world

High upon my fortress of words

Rhyming my life into

I Rhyme

Right now it’s all that I know

I don’t know how  or why

It just flows

When I need to figure out the world

Or when the load on my shoulders

Gets too heavy to hold

All I have to do is grab a pen

And like magic the words

The words jag out as if

I weren’t the one controlling it

I need it like the blood pumping in my veins

Ever since the second grade

I’ve lived my life  page for page

And I  know one day

I’ll write that one poem

The one that stuck

at the tip of my tongue

I’ll write till the rhymes are done Till I can’t think of a single line

Till I go deaf and blind

And have to change sides

As long as I don’t lose my mind

My pen will glide

And my lines will rhyme

Rhyme

Right now it’s all that I know

I don’t know how  or why

It just flows

When I need to figure out the world

Or when the load on my shoulders

Gets too heavy to hold

All I have to do is grab a pen
